EDIFACT/XML

More than 2/3 of the transport orders are transferred directly from the customers’ systems to the SCHMIDT forwarding software
via EDI/XML.

Firstly, data has to be transformed into a corporate and standard size (EDIFACT/XML). In addition to optimal transfers of transport orders, EDIFACT/XML is being increasingly used for actual status reporting.

Currently, the SCHMIDT Group operates EDI connections with 22 customers using data sizes IFTMIN, IFCSUM, IFTSTA and CIDX.
