Mobile elutriator in the SCHMIDT Group
Since a couple of weeks, the SCHMIDT Group has been in possession of a mobile elutriator. This equipment is
based at the SCHMIDT facility in Cologne-Niehl and can also be utilised at other sites, dependent on requirement, as it can be transported on a 20’ chassis.
Some important technical data:
Capacity: 5 - 7 tons/hour
Elutration quality: 500 ppm to 50 ppm
Power use: 13 kW
Air volume conveying requirement: 800 m³/hour, 0,6 bar over-pressure
Net Weight: 3,2 tons/handling with forklifter
This Equipment is used mainly for separating fines and fibres from granular products, e.g. extreme dust extraction from fibre spinning pellets (PA, PET, etc.) and for the removal of streamers from bulk polymers (PE, PP, etc.) integrated in a pneumatic conveying or gravity feed system.
