Tank cleaning association founded
Together with six other well-known tank and silo cleaning providers, SCHMIDT was among the foundation members for the tank cleaning association DVTI
(Deutscher Verein Tankinnenreinigung). This new association was founded in Dormagen (near Cologne) on 5 November 2003.
The main targets of the DTVI association are:
- Central contact for chemical industry
- Standardization of cleaning certificates
- Community of interests opposite to the loading companies
- Improvement of safety and environmental standards at the cleaning facilities
Another aim of the DTVI
association is to better comply with the new SQAS cleaning guidelines as well as the outcome of previous CEFIC / ECTA /EFTCO workshops.
