New weighing system for silo loading
At the SCHMIDT silo complex at Cologne-Niehl, a newly developed weighing system for silo batteries without intermediate floor, which carry
weighing facilities, is available. With this technology, a maximum tolerance of +/- 100 kgs might be reached.
The individual flow speed of the different products are recorded in a special database. After the input of the tare weight
of the vehicle, the necessary loading time will be unlocked at the silo gate exactly in seconds.
An extension for additional SCHMIDT group silo complexes is planned for the near future.
