The new mobile belt thrower for container rear loading
Due to an increased demand for rear loading of box containers, SCHMIDT developed a second
series of mobile belt throwing equipment.
The main advantages of the new equipment comprise its ability to rotate, reduced preparation times and facilitated cleaning work after the loading processes.
Rear loading of 20’ and
40’ box containers may be performed for bulk products with an apparent density of 0.4 to 0.6 kgs/ltrs without a lot of mounting complexity and in places where no fixed belt throwing equipment is available. With its rotation ability, the
new mobile belt throwing equipment can load several rear-aligned chassis from the same position. Moreover, its special construction allows self-support with electricity, hydraulic systems and air, which guarantees a flexible application.
Remarkable time and cost benefits now increase the price-performance ratio.
