SCHMIDT logistics plan with mobile silo storage units
The introduction of mobile silo units has enjoyed increasing popularity in the recent time. In conjunction with the SCHMIDT logistics plan, these units have been introduced with large customers who have detected the implicated advantages.
For both plastics producers and fabricators looking at a possible change from packed goods to bulk, SCHMIDT is the competent partner arranging all necessary logistics services.
This includes the location of mobile silo
storage units at the fabricator’s site as well as the installation of all feeding pipes for the production line. Moreover, SCHMIDT assures the continuous supply of raw material from the producer by deploying a special remote control system
(VMI).
The aluminium made mobile silo units have a capacity of 69 m³ measuring 10 m in height and 3,50 m in diameter. SCHMIDT is able to equip any unit directly the customer’s specifications (also for powder products). The SCHMIDT
logistics plan allows purchase, lease-purchase or leasing conditions with a minimum running time of three years.
