SCHMIDT Guarantees Quality through their
Responsible Care Certificate
The Responsible Care Agreement stipulates that all contractual
partners are guaranteeing to continuously improve safety and health of all participants as well as to minimize effects harmful to the environment, guaranteeing these efforts via their Responsible Care Certificate.
In Canada,
this agreement is already in effect since 1985. In Europe, ECTA (European Chemical Transport Association) has only recently joined this program at the initiative of CEFIC (European Council of the Chemical Industry).
Together with
18 ECTA members, SCHMIDT has signed this agreement in February 2009 in Barcelona and is thus obliged to integrate these principles into their own company policy as well as to report the results annually to ECTA. All undersigned are
now entitled to use the quality seal on their stationary.
