New Business Acquired in the Food Industry
SCHMIDT won a 2-year contract for
transporting 10,000 t of corn p.a., after having bid for a tender by Limagrain, the fourth largest group of companies in the world dealing in seeds. From Hungary, France and Italy the corn is transported by container via intermodal
traffic to Germany and there processed into corn flakes by Kellogg’s in Bremen.
