As the first large outsourcing project within a chemical production site in Germany, a silo storage facility including bagging and palletising machinery was constructed at Huerth-Knapsack near Cologne in 1990.
This facility is available for the production plant only.
Over the years, this “Chemiepark Knapsack” has been established. Within this area, the SCHMIDT Group continued to build silo batteries, warehouses and an ultra-modern tank cleaning site. These facilities are open to all companies.
