South Eastern Bavaria is another significant region of chemical production and so, in 1991, the SCHMIDT Group, lead by the demand for storage capacity, established a logistics centre at Kastl near Burghausen.
Silo batteries, warehouses and a special bagging facility were constructed in the neighbourhood of the local customers.
To complete the service package, a modern tank cleaning facility and maintenance and repair workshops were added. Additionally, this SCHMIDT Group location has direct connections to the rail network.
