The SCHMIDT logistics complex at Cologne-Niehl was established in 1981, which, today, is noted for it’s expertise in the bulk chemical industry.
Located centrally in the Cologne chemical industry region and with direct connection to the seaports of Antwerp and Rotterdam via the Rhine river, this SCHMIDT Group subsidiary offers the ideal conditions for import and export traffic.
Handling, storage (128 silos with a total capacity of 27,600 m³ and conventional warehousing with a capacity up to 50,000 tons of packed materials) and transhipment services are provided in this ultra-modern facility. Specialist bulk product handling and care equipment e. g. homogenisators and elutrators are also available. Extensive and precise services are guaranteed by a team of experts.
